Chilling Views?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

Stayed at Caritas Bianchi Lodge last week. The view from my room was insane, seriously breathtaking. But the brochure mentioned a rooftop terrace – I couldn’t find it. Did it get removed, or am I ju… more

Yeah, the Caritas Bianchi Lodge is a bit of a maze. I've stayed there a couple of times and that rooftop terrace... it's very well hidden. Seriously, like a secret speakeasy kinda vibe. Look for a discreet door near the stairwell on the top floor – it's easy to miss. If you still can't find it, ask reception; they should know. It's probably not marked very well.

Wow, a secret rooftop terrace?! That sounds amazing. Thanks for the tip about the discreet door – I would have totally missed that. I appreciate the heads-up about reception too, just in case. Seriously, a speakeasy vibe? Sold.

Lost my Yearbook

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

My first day at Saint Too Canaan College was...intense. The sheer scale of the place! It felt like a sprawling city, not just a school. I got hopelessly lost trying to find my classroom, ending up… more

Dude, seriously? That first day sounds like a freakin' disaster movie. Hong Kong is intense enough, let alone adding a HUGE school to the mix. Get a lanyard. Seriously. One of those things with a clear plastic ID holder. Put your yearbook in it. Then, clip it onto your bag. Problem solved. It’s way less likely to get lost that way than shoved in a backpack pocket. Also, deep breaths. You'll make friends. It's a big school; everyone's a little lost at first. Don't stress too much. Focus on finding your feet first, then worrying about the yearbook-induced social death.
