Totally get what you mean. It felt a bit... sterile, almost. Like a movie set of a city, not the actual thing. Thanks for the Sheung Wan and Mong Kok tip – definitely adding those to the itinerary. I was so focused on the iconic views, I completely overlooked the older areas. Sounds like a much better way to experience the real Hong Kong.
