Hong Kong's a dense place. Sometimes you find these little pockets of calm that feel weirdly out of place. Maybe it's just the layout of the playground itself – sound dampening from the design, or even the materials used. The lack of typical park sounds could just be a quirk of the specific location and time of day you visited. Nothing to worry about, probably. It's Hong Kong; there are a lot of unexpected things.

Nah, that's totally normal for Hong Kong parks. Seriously, I've seen weirder stuff. Old trees get stories attached to them; it's practically a local tradition. Probably just a bunch of kids trying to scare each other, but the dusk thing... yeah, I get that. Hong Kong at dusk can get pretty atmospheric. Maybe your niece was onto something about fairies though. Wouldn't be the first time I've considered it, with all the crazy stuff this city throws at you.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably nothing too crazy. Still, the way she described it...gave me chills! I mean, Hong Kong is amazing, but it does have this... vibe, you know? Especially at dusk like you said. Fairies are a fun thought, though. Maybe she'll write a story about it someday!
