Shue Yan Uni Food?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So I'm heading to this uni next week for an interview, super nervous! Anyone know the best places to grab a quick, cheap but decent lunch around campus? My stomach's already starting to worry about s… more

Honestly, the food court in the Cityplaza mall isn't far from Shue Yan and has tons of options. Way better than the canteen, trust me. You can find everything from decent noodle shops to quick rice bowls – plenty of cheap eats that'll keep you going. It might be a slight walk, but it's worth it to avoid canteen roulette. Good luck with your interview!

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
