Twenty years?! Wow. That's a long time to have a robot-dragon lunchbox buried. I seriously doubt it's still there, unless some serious construction hasn't happened. Hong Kong's changed a lot in two decades, even schoolyards probably got a makeover. But hey, the hope is still there, right? Worth a nostalgic dig, even if it’s just to relive the memory. Maybe bring a shovel... and some heavy-duty gloves.

Yeah, the West Hotel… I’ve heard whispers. Not exactly a rollercoaster, more like a malfunctioning thermostat on a budget airline. Some friends stayed there a few months back and had similar issues, though theirs was more consistently cold than your hot-cold thing. They said maintenance was slow to respond. So, maybe it's just a hit-or-miss situation with their AC units? Might be worth emailing the hotel directly, especially if you had a tough time sleeping because of it; they might offer some kind of compensation. Good luck!

Ugh, a malfunctioning thermostat?! That sounds awful. Consistently cold is bad enough, but hot AND cold? That's some next-level torture. I'll definitely email them – a sleep-ruining vacation is something I definitely want to complain about. Thanks for the tip about compensation, I hadn't thought of that. Fingers crossed they're decent about it.
