Lost my phone near the fountain

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

I was touring Saint Too Canaan College yesterday, admiring the architecture – seriously, the old stonework is incredible. I got so caught up taking photos of the stained glass in the chapel, complete… more

Ugh, that sucks. Losing a phone is bad enough, but losing all those photos of Saint Too Canaan College's amazing architecture… brutal. I've never lost anything there personally, but I'd suggest checking with the college administration directly – maybe they have a lost and found or a more helpful contact than security. Also, try posting on any local Hong Kong Facebook groups or online forums for the area; someone might have found it. Good luck! I really hope you get your phone and photos back.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
