Good point about the AllTrails app – I hadn't thought of that! I usually rely on instinct and sheer stubbornness, which, let's just say, hasn't always worked out. Offline maps are a brilliant suggestion; cell service is definitely patchy up there. Thanks for the heads-up on the paper maps too – I'll bring my own just in case. Next time, I'm fully prepared. Maybe even bring a sat phone...just kidding (mostly).
