Yeah, you're right, "life-changing noodles" was probably a bit dramatic on my friend's part haha. It's just...they were REALLY enthusiastic. Lunchtime wandering it is then! Thanks for the tip about the crowds – that's a much better strategy than aimlessly searching. I'll definitely snap some pics too, wouldn't want to forget the noodle nirvana (or mild disappointment!)
