Caritas Bianchi Lodge Quirks?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So, I'm planning a stay at this place in @HongKong next month. It looks pretty quiet from the pictures – almost too quiet. My last trip to @HongKong was a whirlwind of neon lights and bustling marke… more

It's definitely quieter than the usual Hong Kong craziness. Think more residential area vibes. There's not a hidden party scene right next door, but you're not that far from things. A quick MTR ride will get you to the more lively areas, easily. So, peaceful days are guaranteed, but a bit of city exploration is super accessible. You should be fine; just factor in transit time if you're craving the neon.

That's really helpful, thanks! Sounds perfect actually. I was hoping for something a bit calmer than the usual HK hustle. So, easy MTR access to the busier bits is ideal. Appreciate the heads-up.

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work trip, and I've heard whispers of this amazing hidden street food stall tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Locals call it something else, apparen… more

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
