MTR woes?

fmd_good Hung Hom

So, I'm heading to @Kowloon for a gig next week and need to get to Hung Hom. I've heard the MTR can be a nightmare during rush hour – seriously, people are practically sardines! Anyone got tips o… more

Yeah, the MTR during rush hour in @Hongkong is... an experience. Hung Hom's pretty straightforward though. Just make sure you're on the right platform – double check the electronic signs, even if you think you know. They're surprisingly helpful. And maybe get there 10-15 minutes early, just to give yourself some breathing room (literally). It's less about navigating the system and more about navigating the people. Good luck! You'll survive.

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
