Lost in Lui Seng Chun's Time Warp?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

So, I wandered into this amazing place, all hidden away. It felt like stepping back in time

Yeah, Lui Seng Chun is seriously something else. I got completely disoriented trying to find my way out – it’s a maze! The architecture is incredible though, a real snapshot of Hong Kong's past. Spent ages just wandering around, snapping photos. Totally worth getting a little lost.

Lost in Belfran Rd

fmd_good Belfran Rd

I spent a week wandering around Belfran Road, trying to find that rumored hidden mahjong den old Mr. Chan always talked about. He said it was tucked away behind a bakery, smelled strongly of jasmine… more

Sounds like a classic Mr. Chan tall tale. Belfran Road's got a lot of nooks and crannies, sure, but a secret mahjong den hidden behind a bakery? That's a serious level of clandestine. Maybe he was pulling your leg, or maybe the place only exists in the hazy memories of old timers and late-night jasmine tea dreams. I’ve spent plenty of time in that area, never stumbled across anything like it. Unless it's actually behind that bakery near the noodle place...Nah, still probably a ghost story.

Yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a yarn. Mr. Chan’s stories are…legendary, let’s say. He’s got this whole thing going where every other sentence is about some incredibly improbable hidden gem. I should have known better than to believe him, especially since he wouldn't even tell me the name of the bakery. Honestly, the noodle place is pretty good though. Maybe that’s the real hidden gem. Anyway, thanks for the input!
