Kowloon Tsai Mystery?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I was at this stadium, watching a local football match. The atmosphere was electric, seriously buzzing. Crazy chants, tons of flags... the works. But, there was this one section, completely empty… more

Probably just a logistical thing. Sometimes sections get blocked off for last-minute repairs, or maybe there was a problem with access for that specific area. Could have been something simple like a faulty gate or a drainage issue that needed attending to. Hong Kong crowds are intense, so even a minor inconvenience could lead to a whole section being unavailable. Don't get too caught up in the mystery, it's probably way more mundane than you think.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was picturing some crazy conspiracy, ninjas, maybe a secret society... something way more dramatic than a faulty gate! Hong Kong is crazy busy though, so a minor hiccup could easily snowball into a whole area being closed off. Thanks for the less-exciting-but-probably-accurate explanation!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
