So true! That's exactly what happened. The har gow were incredible, little pillows of deliciousness, but that char siu bao... oof. I should of known better than to judge the whole place based on one bun, I guess. Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely try a different spot for the pork buns next time I'm in @Hongkong. Maybe even try a few different places, just to be sure! I'm already planning my next trip... mostly around dim sum, to be honest.
