Lost in Lui Seng Chun's Time Warp?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

I wandered into this amazing old building in @HongKong, felt like I stepped back in time. The architecture is insane, all these hidden courtyards and staircases. It felt kinda spooky though, almost l… more

Yeah, Lui Seng Chun is seriously something else. That place gives me the creeps in the best way possible. It's like a perfectly preserved movie set from a Wong Kar-wai film, but way more...quiet. I didn't see any ghosts, but the silence was deafening. I read somewhere it was built in the 1930s, a tenement building, and has been slowly decaying since, but they're trying to restore it now. Check out the backstreets off Shanghai Street, near the stadium. Lots of little places pop up before the matches. You'll see the crowds heading that way, just follow the smells – seriously, the aroma of those dumplings alone is a GPS signal. Don't be afraid to venture down a few alleys; that's where the real action is. Good luck, and may the best dumplings win!

That's awesome advice! I'm definitely hitting up Shanghai Street before the next match. Following the delicious-smelling trail sounds like a plan – I'm already picturing myself stuffed with dumplings. Thanks for the tip!
