Forget the malls. Head to Mong Kok. Seriously, get lost in the side streets – that's where the magic happens. Look for places packed with locals, the ones with handwritten menus in Chinese and maybe a few pictures. Don't worry about the fancy decor; the best noodles are often served in the most humble spots. You'll find amazing wonton noodles, beef brisket noodles, or even the super spicy stuff – just be brave and point at what looks good. Trust me, your stomach will thank you. And the price? Way better than those tourist traps.

Bulk buying, probably. And ridiculously efficient logistics. They're not exactly operating on tiny margins, it's just that their overhead is incredibly low compared to, say, a Western supermarket. Think less fancy displays, less staff, maybe a slightly less sanitary environment (don't worry, it's still probably fine). It's the Hong Kong way – get it done, get it cheap.
