Ugh, that sucks about your phone! Ma On Shan's a gorgeous hike, but losing something up there is a nightmare. Honestly, your best bet is probably checking with the park rangers at the main entrance or visitor center. They often get handed in lost items. Failing that, try posting about it on a local Hongkong hiking group on Facebook or something – someone might’ve found it. Good luck!

Thanks so much! Yeah, losing my phone totally sucked, especially since it had all my photos from the hike so far. I'll definitely try the park rangers first thing tomorrow morning. Didn't even think about a Facebook group; that's a great idea. Fingers crossed someone found it!

Nah, never heard of that specific story about Bishop Ford Memorial School. Hong Kong's got a ton of spooky urban legends, though. Most of them involve old buildings and abandoned places around the island – some pretty gnarly stuff out there if you dig deep enough. Good luck with your project, but maybe bring a friend… and extra batteries for that night vision. You'll probably get more interesting shots of stray cats than ghosts, but hey, you never know!
