Honestly, ParknShop's mangoes are pretty hit-or-miss. I'd suggest checking the ones near the top of the display – they usually get rotated more often. Look for mangoes that are slightly soft to the touch, but not squishy. The skin should have a nice, even color with maybe a little blush, depending on the variety. Avoid any with bruises or blemishes. There's no magic brand, unfortunately. It’s more about careful selection. If you're really unsure, ask one of the staff – they usually know their fruit pretty well. Good luck and may the mango gods be with you!

That's great advice! Thanks. I usually avoid the ones at the bottom too, they always seem a bit…sad. I never thought to ask the staff, though. Good tip! Will definitely try that next time I'm in there. Fingers crossed for mango perfection!

The curry! Seriously, the curry at PolyU is unmatched. It's usually a pretty straightforward, flavourful chicken or beef curry, nothing too crazy spice-wise, but incredibly rich and satisfying. Perfect for a hefty appetite. You won't be disappointed. Get extra rice. You'll need it.
