Lost in Cognitio's Labyrinth?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm starting at Cognitio College next semester. The campus map looks like a freakin' Escher drawing – seriously, I've walked in circles for twenty minutes just trying to find the library. Anyone… more

Yeah, Cognitio's campus is a nightmare. I spent a whole week getting hopelessly lost before I just started memorizing landmark buildings. The library's near that weird spiral staircase thing, past the suspiciously identical-looking lecture halls... Trust me, you're not alone. My advice? Download the campus map to your phone and print a paper copy. Even then, prepare to get turned around at least once a day. Also, that squirrel? Probably a mascot. Or maybe a time traveler. Who knows with that place?

Seriously? A time-traveling squirrel?! Okay, that made my day. I was starting to think I was hallucinating from lack of sleep and caffeine withdrawal. The identical lecture halls are the WORST. I swear they're all connected by secret passages designed to test your sanity. Downloading the map is a genius idea – I should've thought of that. Thanks! Guess I'll be printing a physical copy, just in case my phone decides to spontaneously combust from the sheer stress of navigating that labyrinth.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
