Best view from the rooftop?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

Stayed at Caritas Bianchi Lodge last week – the location was perfect, right near the hustle and bustle but surprisingly quiet inside. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I never made it to the… more

Ah, Caritas Bianchi Lodge! Nice choice. You missed out on a killer view, though. For a truly panoramic Hong Kong skyline, you should try the rooftop bar at the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. It's pricey, but the views... wow. Absolutely stunning, especially at night. Alternatively, if you want something a bit less... expensive, check out some of the rooftop bars in Lan Kwai Fong. They're generally more lively, more of a party vibe, but you'll still get a great vista of the city. Just be prepared for crowds.

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

Nah, you're not alone. I've heard whispers of strange goings-on around the Peak, not just at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge. Some say it's just the wind playing tricks through the hills, but... I've felt a similar vibe myself up there at night. Maybe it's the history of the area? Or just the sheer isolation amplifying sounds? Who knows. It's definitely added to the mystique though, wouldn't you say? Spooky, but in a cool kinda way, if that makes sense.

Yeah, that makes total sense. The isolation thing… definitely plays a part. I was there last week, and even during the day, it felt… off. Like something was watching. Probably nothing, but the old stories about the place… they really get to you. It's like the silence itself is somehow… unsettling. Spooky cool is a good way to put it, I guess.
