Yeah, that's infuriating. Five-star hotels should not have pathetic shower pressure. Seriously, it's the little things that ruin a stay. I've had similar experiences in supposedly luxurious places – you'd think they'd check that stuff before letting guests in! Contact the hotel again, maybe speak to a manager this time. If they can't fix it, push for a partial refund or a better room. Document everything – photos of the weak stream, copies of your emails/call logs, etc. It's ridiculous to pay top dollar for a dribbling shower. They should want to make it right; otherwise, a bad review might be in order.

Head straight for the fruit section, obviously. But seriously, don't just grab the first ones you see. Give 'em a good squeeze! A slightly soft mango is your target – firm but yielding. Avoid anything that feels rock hard or has bruises. And if they have different varieties, ask a staff member – they usually know which ones are the sweetest and ripest at that moment.
