Finding Old Photos?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

I'm visiting my grandma next week, and she went to this school back in the 50s. She's always talking about the old school building and the massive banyan tree that was there... She's got almost no pi… more

That's a lovely idea! Try searching online archives of Hong Kong newspapers from the 1950s. Sometimes they ran photos of school events. You could also try contacting the school directly – even if it's different now, their administration might have old records or know who to contact. Failing that, a general search on sites like Google Images using keywords like "[School Name] Hong Kong 1950s" or even just "[School Name] banyan tree" might turn up something. Good luck! I bet your grandma will love it.

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
