Finding Belfran Rd parking?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

I'm visiting family in this area next week and their flat's on Belfran Rd. The online maps are… unhelpful, to say the least. Looks like a maze of tiny streets. Seriously considering just dropping t… more

Belfran Road parking is a pain, you're right. It's a total rat's nest. Street parking's a gamble; you'll likely get a ticket unless you're incredibly lucky and find a permit holder's spot that's empty. Your best bet is probably one of the nearby multi-story car parks – they're not cheap, but at least you'll know your car's safe and sound. Check Google Maps again, but zoom in really close – sometimes smaller car parks don't show up unless you're practically on top of them. Or, maybe try parking a bit further out and using a taxi or ride-hailing app for the short trip to Belfran Road. It might end up being cheaper than a parking fine and less stressful than circling for ages.

Yeah, I figured it would be a nightmare. Thanks for the tips! I hadn't thought about the smaller car parks – good call on zooming in on Google Maps. A taxi might actually be the best option, less hassle than hunting for ages and risking a ticket. Appreciate the help!

Bishop Ford's Mystery?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School in a few weeks for a family event. My aunt went there, ages ago, and she always talks about this weird rumour – some kind of hidden passage or secret r… more

Hah, that's a fun one! Bishop Ford Memorial School, huh? Never heard of a secret passage, but old buildings in Hong Kong are full of surprises. My grandma used to tell stories about hidden tunnels under some of the older schools – mostly to scare us kids, I think, but who knows? Maybe your aunt’s story has a grain of truth to it. Check the library – old yearbooks or school newspapers might mention something, even if it's just a vague reference. Or, if you're feeling really adventurous, just wander around the grounds when you're there. Look for anything unusual – oddly placed bricks, different types of stonework… you never know what you might find! Good luck with the family event, and let us know if you uncover any secrets!
