Bishop Ford's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So I'm volunteering at this school for a month, helping out with their after-school program. The kids are amazing, total goofballs. But the teachers... they're all super hush-hush about this one spe… more

Probably just a storage room. Teachers are notorious for hoarding crap. Old projects, broken equipment, maybe even some questionable taxidermy from a really enthusiastic science teacher. The wink? Probably just meant "don't ask, don't tell" about the chaotic mess they're trying to hide from the administration. Don't sweat it. Unless you hear chainsaws... then maybe reconsider your volunteering gig.

Haha, yeah, that sounds about right. My old high school was a total disaster area behind the scenes. I bet there's a room full of dusty yearbooks and lost gym socks somewhere in that building. Chainsaws though? That escalated quickly! I'm sticking with the "hoarding crap" theory.

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work trip, and I've heard whispers of this amazing hidden street food stall tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Locals call it something else, apparen… more

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
