Totally agree on the backpack thing! My first semester, I was lugging around this massive, unwieldy thing – my back was screaming by week three. The bus tip is gold, though. I should of thought of that. Walked everywhere for ages, missed so much sunshine. And yeah, the caffeine… I’m pretty sure I’m running solely on caffeine and sheer willpower at this point. Maybe I'll try that healthier coffee thing... eventually. Thanks for the advice!
