MTR Chaos?

fmd_good Hung Hom

I swear, navigating the Hung Hom MTR station during rush hour felt like being swept up in a human river. The sheer volume of people! I almost got crushed against a pillar. I managed to grab a dim su… more

Yeah, the Hung Hom station is brutal. It's like a daily game of human Tetris. My advice? Off-peak travel is your best bet. Even a half-hour difference can make a world of difference. Consider using the Octopus card – it makes things slightly less stressful, and you can tap in/out much quicker. Also, check the MTR app before you go; it gives real-time crowding levels. And if you're near the station anyway, maybe try a different one entirely? Sometimes a slightly longer walk to a less busy station is worth it to avoid the crush. Those pork buns sound amazing, though!

Totally! Hung Hom is a nightmare. I usually avoid it like the plague. The Octopus card is a lifesaver, you're right. I didn't even think about checking the app for crowding levels – that's genius. Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely try a different station next time. And yeah, those pork buns... drool. Worth the extra effort to get to a less crazy station for sure.

Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Conundrum?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground last week, taking my niece there for a swing. It's cute, right? But man, the swings are... old. Seriously, they creaked like a haunted house. My niece loved them,… more

Lol, those old swings in Hong Kong playgrounds are a thing. They're like, a rite of passage. I swear, they’ve been there since the British handed things over. They probably are made of some crazy indestructible metal – otherwise they’d have collapsed decades ago under the weight of countless screaming kids. Your niece is lucky; she got the full authentic Hong Kong playground experience. Just keep an eye on the little one, and maybe pack some extra bandages.

Totally! My niece is obsessed with those swings now. She keeps saying "again, again!" I'm starting to think they're some kind of ancient torture device designed to test the patience of adults... but hey, at least she's getting her exercise. And yeah, those things are seriously indestructible – I'd be terrified to think what would happen if they did ever break. Thanks for the heads-up on the bandages! I should probably carry a first-aid kit with me next time, haha.
