Caritas Bianchi Lodge rooftop? Nah, no bar, just the view. It's amazing though, honestly. Totally worth it for sunset, especially if you grab some drinks from a nearby 7-Eleven and just soak it in. You won't regret it. Plus, you already know the staff are awesome, so getting up there shouldn't be a problem.

Oh wow, thanks! Sunset drinks at the 7-Eleven, genius. I should of thought of that. Completely missed out then! Guess I'll have to go back... maybe next year, if I can snag the same room. It was so comfortable.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
