Oh man, Kamstore! I've spent way too much time in there. My craziest purchase? A bag of something called "century eggs" that smelled like a sulfur mine exploded in a gym locker. The texture was... indescribable. I think I still have nightmares. They looked like something out of a horror movie, but I was curious. Needless to say, I didn't finish them. Your black mushrooms sound way more appealing! Let us know how they taste!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
