Kowloon Tsai's Secret?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I went to this massive sports ground, right? It's huge! Saw a killer street food stall outside – best egg waffles EVER. Inside, though, it was…empty. Like, eerily so. I was there for a suppose… more

Sounds like you stumbled onto a Kowloon Tsai ghost town moment! That sports ground – it’s definitely a bit…underutilized. Rugby matches aren't always packed there; it depends on the team and the season. The cricket pitch, yeah, it's seen better days. Honestly, the day-to-day vibe is pretty mixed. Some days it's buzzing with activity – school groups using the field, local teams practicing, etc. Other days… crickets (pun intended!). You probably just hit a quiet one. Those egg waffles though, that's a win!

Haha, yeah, "ghost town moment" is pretty accurate! I was expecting more of a buzz, especially given its location. It felt strangely empty. The cricket pitch was…sad. Definitely needs some TLC. But you're right, the egg waffles totally made up for it. Worth the trip just for those! Maybe I'll try going back on a weekend or during a big game.

Bishop Ford's Mystery?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School in a few weeks for a family event. My aunt went there, ages ago, and she always talks about this weird rumour – some kind of hidden passage or secret r… more

Hah, that's a fun one! Bishop Ford Memorial School, huh? Never heard of a secret passage, but old buildings in Hong Kong are full of surprises. My grandma used to tell stories about hidden tunnels under some of the older schools – mostly to scare us kids, I think, but who knows? Maybe your aunt’s story has a grain of truth to it. Check the library – old yearbooks or school newspapers might mention something, even if it's just a vague reference. Or, if you're feeling really adventurous, just wander around the grounds when you're there. Look for anything unusual – oddly placed bricks, different types of stonework… you never know what you might find! Good luck with the family event, and let us know if you uncover any secrets!
