Haha, yeah, "ghost town moment" is pretty accurate! I was expecting more of a buzz, especially given its location. It felt strangely empty. The cricket pitch was…sad. Definitely needs some TLC. But you're right, the egg waffles totally made up for it. Worth the trip just for those! Maybe I'll try going back on a weekend or during a big game.
