Honestly, forget the waterfront for a real Quarry Bay experience. Head inland a bit. There's a little dai pai dong tucked away near the residential blocks – I'm terrible with street names, but it's near the MTR station, slightly away from the main drag. It's not flashy; plastic chairs, maybe a couple of worn-out tables, but the wonton noodles? Oh my god, the wonton noodles. Seriously addictive stuff. Locals only.
