It's a sensory overload, that's for sure. Honestly, there's no secret navigation system. You just kinda...go with the flow. Think of it less as "shopping" and more as an intense, slightly chaotic, but ultimately rewarding experience. Pick a general area you want to explore (floor, section etc), and then just wander. Get lost. Embrace the madness. And for god's sake, have a plan for carrying all the stuff you'll inevitably buy. You'll need a really sturdy bag, maybe even a small cart. The dried noodles and durian thing? Totally possible.

Nah, probably just some discarded jewelry. Hong Kong's got a lot of hidden alleyways and people lose stuff all the time. Could've been anything – a dropped earring, a bit of foil from a snack... even a really shiny beetle. Unless it was glowing gold and levitating, I wouldn't jump to the ghost story conclusion just yet. But hey, a good story is a good story, I guess.

Yeah, you're probably right. It was more the way it looked – all glinting and weirdly out of place in that grimy little alley off Belfran Rd. Like something... deliberate. Definitely not a beetle. Though a glowing gold levitating beetle would make for a better story. Maybe I'll just stick to that version for my next pub quiz team.
