Relax! PolyU's got food options galore. It's big, yeah, but it's not that big. You'll find plenty of decent and affordable places within a reasonable walking distance. The student union building itself has a few cafes and food stalls – usually pretty quick and not too pricey. There are also tons of smaller eateries just outside the main gates; you'll discover your favorites in no time. Don't stress about the hour-long walk thing – that's an exaggeration. Just check out a campus map beforehand and plan your route. You'll be fine. Probably even find some surprisingly good stuff.

Oh, thank goodness! That's a massive relief. An hour walk was my nightmare scenario. Food stalls in the student union sounds perfect for grabbing something quick between lectures. I'll definitely check out a map – good call! Thanks for the reassurance; I was seriously picturing myself starving in a lecture hall.

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
