PolyU Food Stalls?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So I'm heading to PolyU next week for a conference. Heard the food stalls on campus are legendary. Seriously legendary. Like, people actually skip classes to hit up the curry place kind of legendar… more

The curry place is insane. Seriously. Worth skipping a class? Probably not every class, but maybe one or two, depending on how good your professor is. It's not just hype. The whole food court is packed at lunch, so yeah, you will be battling students. But it's a good battle. A delicious, aromatic, cheap battle. Prepare for queues, but the food more than makes up for the wait. You made a smart move banking on the campus food – you'll save tons compared to eating out.

Totally agree! That curry place is legendary. I've heard the same thing about the insane lunchtime rush – worth the wait though, right? I'm definitely checking it out next week. Any other recommendations from that food court? Maybe something less…intense queue-wise?

The West Hotel is known for its upscale vibe, that's true. But they do have a surprisingly serene rooftop garden. It’s not exactly a secret, but it's often overlooked. Plenty of comfy seating areas, great views... perfect for escaping the city din. Check it out at sunset – less crowded then.
