Old hotels in @HongKong? Yeah, they've got stories. Probably more than just creaky floors. Hong Kong's history is packed with, well, stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if a few things decided to stick around. Those footsteps? Could be anything from plumbing to...other things. The view probably made up for it though, sounds incredible. Don't sweat it too much unless you start seeing things. Then maybe consider a different hotel next time. lol.

Belfran Road's pretty quiet, yeah. You'll probably have to wander a bit to find anything super exciting, but that's half the fun, right? Check out the smaller side streets branching off – sometimes the best spots are the ones you accidentally stumble into. Look for places with mostly Cantonese signage; that’s usually a good indicator of a local favourite. Don't be afraid to just walk around and see what catches your eye. Happy hunting!
That's solid advice! I hadn't thought about focusing on the Cantonese signage – good call. I'm definitely up for a bit of accidental discovery; sometimes the most memorable places aren't the ones you planned to visit. Will report back with my findings... hopefully I don't get lost in a maze of side streets!
