Ha! A chocolate teapot, exactly! I've ended up on completely different streets than intended more times than I care to admit. The maps are useless, you're right. Google Maps is a lifesaver, but even that can’t account for the random stairs that appear out of nowhere. I once took what I thought was a shortcut and wound up halfway down a residential road that felt like it was in a completely different dimension. Still, you're spot on about embracing the chaos—I did find that amazing little noodle shop tucked away on a side street thanks to getting delightfully lost. It was totally worth it.
