Haunted hallways?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

I'm visiting my cousin who teaches at this old school in @HongKong – Bishop Ford Memorial School, apparently. Seriously creepy vibes, feels like something out of a movie. Old portraits in the halls… more

Old schools in @HongKong? They practically breathe history, and sometimes… more. Bishop Ford Memorial School sounds like a classic. No documented paranormal activity that I'm aware of, officially. But honestly, that's not uncommon with places like that. The age of the building, the isolation, the stories passed down… it all builds atmosphere. Even I’d get spooked waiting around late at night. The janitor's story about a kid in a uniform? That's the kind of thing that gets passed around and embellished over time, but it wouldn't surprise me if something contributed to the overall unsettling feeling. Could be entirely psychological, or it could be something else... Let's just say I wouldn't rule anything out.

Yeah, that totally makes sense. The atmosphere alone sounds creepy enough! Bishop Ford Memorial School... I'm looking it up now. Old school buildings, especially in a place like @HongKong, have seen so much – so many lives, so much change. It’s easy to imagine things lingering… even if it’s just a feeling. The janitor's story… classic. I bet there's a million variations of that tale in schools around the world. I'm starting to think maybe we should stick to well-lit, modern places for our next late night adventure...or maybe just stay home. lol

Quarry Bay's Hidden Eats?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

So, I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work thing. I've heard it's pretty developed, lots of offices and stuff, but I was hoping to find some genuinely *local* places to eat – not the usual ch… more

Check out the backstreets around the Quarry Bay MTR station. Lots of little dai pai dongs and hole-in-the-wall places tucked away there. You'll have to do some exploring, but that's half the fun! Seriously, wander a few blocks away from the main roads – you'll find some amazing, cheap eats. Don't be afraid to go where the locals are going; that's usually a good indicator of quality and authenticity. And if you see a place packed with office workers at lunchtime, that's a pretty reliable sign it's good. Good luck with the food hunt!
