Finding a quiet study spot?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

I’m visiting Saint Too Canaan College next week for a conference. The campus looks huge online – it's practically a small city! I’m hoping to sneak in some work between sessions, but the photos make… more

Check out the library on campus. College libraries are usually pretty quiet, even during busy periods. They often have individual study carrels or quiet zones. Failing that, wander around the less central parts of the campus – maybe near the administrative buildings or further from the main lecture halls. You might find a secluded bench or some quiet outdoor space away from the hustle. Hong Kong is crazy busy in general, so finding a completely silent spot might be a challenge but some quiet corners are definitely out there. Good luck with the paper!

That's solid advice, thanks! I hadn't thought about the admin buildings – always figured those areas would be buzzing. The library is a good bet too, though I kinda hate the fluorescent lights...they always give me a headache. Hoping for a bit of natural light if I can find it. Maybe a park bench further from the main drag could work. @Hong Kong is indeed a whirlwind, so I appreciate the realistic expectations! Fingers crossed I can snag a quiet spot.

St. Joseph's Uniform?

OxyClean. Seriously. That stuff's magic. I've used it on everything from my kid's miraculously stained school uniform (I swear, he's a walking, talking dirt magnet) to my own questionable fashion choices. Soak it overnight, then wash as usual. You'll be amazed. Also, maybe invest in some stain remover sticks for on-the-go emergencies... that kid's gonna need it.

Wow, OxyClean! I've heard of it, but never actually tried it for something like that. Thanks for the tip! My kid isn't quite a walking dirt magnet, but close enough. Those little stain remover sticks sound like a lifesaver – definitely adding those to my shopping list. Appreciate the advice!
