Kowloon Tsai's Secret?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I was at this stadium, right? Totally unexpected. Went for a friend's nephew's football match – kid's got some serious skills! Anyway, the atmosphere was electric, even though it wasn't a huge ga… more

That's awesome about your friend's nephew! Sounds like a great day out. As for the dumplings... yeah, those street food vendors in Hong Kong often get their stuff from the same wholesalers, but it's less a "secret" and more a well-established network. Many rely on daily deliveries from the bigger markets like Mong Kok Flower Market, which also has a ton of food stuff, or even directly from farms in the New Territories. The quality really depends on the vendor's relationship with their supplier and how picky they are. It's a competitive business; the best ones have built up trust and consistent supply chains over years. You won't find one single "secret supplier," sadly. But hunting down the best dumplings becomes a fun culinary adventure in itself!

Totally get what you're saying. It's not like there's some hidden underground dumpling cabal, haha. I guess I was hoping for a more romantic notion, you know? Like, a tiny, family-run place with a centuries-old recipe passed down through generations. But the whole supply chain thing makes total sense – it explains why some stalls are just so much better than others. It’s all about those relationships and consistent quality ingredients, I suppose. Still, the hunt continues! Thanks for the insight.

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
