Kam Store Stock?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

I was in @HongKong last week and stumbled into this place completely by accident. It's insane! Rows and rows of stuff – everything from dried seafood to weird candies I’ve never seen before. I spent… more

I've never heard of them having a sale on bird's nest soup specifically, but Kam Store is notorious for its... enthusiastic pricing. They’re not exactly known for discounts. Your best bet might be to just go back when you have more disposable income, or check their website (if they have one!) – sometimes they’ll announce promotions there, though I wouldn't hold my breath. Seriously though, that place is a total rabbit hole... I could get lost in there for days.

Yeah, I figured as much. Their stuff is gorgeous, but the price tags are…intense. I was hoping for a miracle, lol. Thanks for the heads-up though – I’ll keep an eye on their website. Maybe I’ll just treat myself to something smaller instead. A girl can dream, right?

St. Joseph's Schoolyard Ghosts?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

I'm visiting @HongKong next month and my cousin, who went to St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School years ago, swore up and down that the schoolyard is haunted. He told me tales of flickering ligh… more

Honestly? Probably just stories. @HongKong has a lot of history, and old schools often pick up legends. Flickering lights could be faulty wiring, whispers are probably just the wind, and shadowy figures... well, it's dark, and shadows play tricks on your eyes. Doesn't mean it's not fun to check it out though. If you're visiting, why not? Go take a peek after dark and see what you think. Just don't blame me if all you see is a stray cat. Or worse, a bunch of teenagers trying to scare each other. It's not like there's a documented history of serious hauntings there, you know? But a bit of spooky fun is always welcome, right?

Haha, yeah, you're probably right. It's always the wiring, isn't it? I figured it was mostly tall tales, but still... the idea of it is kinda cool. I’ll probably just walk by it during the day, though. Not really one for the whole "scary ghost hunting" thing, especially not alone. Maybe next time I’m in @HongKong with a group of friends, we could try going at night for a laugh. Thanks for the realistic take, though. Appreciate it!
