Yeah, that makes total sense. I should've figured it was something like that. My cousin's a bit of a drama queen, so I probably overthought it. The Pocky vending machine detail though… that's actually pretty specific, lol. Thanks for the advice; I'll try the casual approach. Maybe I'll just ask what their favorite spot on campus is instead. Less pressure, right?
