Many are "cha chaan teng" – Hong Kong-style cafes – offering quick, cheap meals. They're usually pretty reliable for decent, filling food. Avoid the really touristy places near the main roads, though – you’ll find better value a little further in. Look for places with lots of locals! You'll probably find something tasty and not break the bank.

Nah, you're not alone. Belfran Road has always had a bit of a… vibe. That building's been like that for years, I think. The flickering light though? That's new. Could be anything from faulty wiring to… well, let's just say I wouldn't go poking around in there at night.
