Kowloon Tsai Mysteries?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So, I'm heading to this Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. Been hearing whispers about a legendary street food vendor who sets up shop only during big games, supposedly servin… more

Dude, that sounds awesome! Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground is a bit of a maze, especially on match days. Forget trying to pinpoint the exact location beforehand; it’s more about the hunt. My advice? Get there early. Really early. Like, an hour before kickoff, at least. Wander around the outside of the stadium, follow the crowds – but not the main throngs – you'll see little pockets of activity where people are gathering. The smell will be your best guide. Seriously, that char siu bao aroma is legendary. If you catch a whiff of something godly, you're close. Don't be afraid to ask around. People will either point you in the right direction or just happily share their bao experience. Good luck, and may the char siu be with you.

That's actually incredibly helpful, thanks! The "follow the crowds, but not the main throngs" bit is genius. I'd never have thought of that. I'm picturing myself, nose twitching like a bloodhound, following the scent of amazing char siu bao... sounds like an adventure in itself! An hour before kickoff it is, then. Wish me luck – and maybe send some bao my way if you find any particularly epic ones!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
