Oh man, you're spot on about Hong Kong's parks! Totally lost myself amongst the greenery, it was amazing but also slightly terrifying at points. I was so focused on the views I didn't even think about downloading an offline map – total rookie mistake. Overgrown trails? Yep, that sounds about right. I think I even saw a lizard…or maybe it was a very camouflaged cat. The Tai Chi masters were definitely impressive though, like ninjas gliding through the foliage. Next time, I’m bringing a compass and a fully charged phone with a proper map, learned my lesson!
