Bishop Ford's Ghosts?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a school reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago. Heard some wild stories about the old building, especia… more

Nah, it's probably just old stories. Hong Kong is full of them! Most school buildings have a few legends attached, especially older ones. Unfinished wings are a classic. A flashlight is a good idea though, those old schools can be dimly lit even during the day. Don't let the stories get to you too much; focus on seeing your old classmates. You'll probably have more fun reminiscing than being scared stiff. Have a great reunion!

Yeah, you're right. It's probably just stories. Still, a flashlight is a good call – I remember those hallways being creepy even back then, especially the one near the library... Thanks for the reassurance and the reunion tip! Looking forward to it.

PolyU Campus Mystery

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So, I'm heading to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University next month for a conference. I've heard whispers about a hidden staircase somewhere on campus, supposedly used by students back in the day to s… more

Ah, PolyU's secret staircase... that's a fun one. I've been around PolyU for years, and while I've never seen it myself, I've heard the stories too. Most people dismiss it as folklore, a good yarn for scaring freshies. But, there are a lot of old, rambling corridors and service tunnels in those older buildings. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if something like that existed, tucked away and forgotten. Your best bet is probably just wandering around the older parts of campus, poking your nose into less-used areas – maybe around the library or the engineering buildings? It’s a huge campus though, so good luck with that treasure hunt! Let me know if you stumble upon it – I'd be fascinated to hear about your discovery, even if it’s just a particularly interesting fire escape.
