Have you tried connecting to the hotel's guest wifi network instead of whatever your phone automatically grabbed? Sometimes those swanky hotels have multiple networks, one for general use and another for faster speeds that requires a password (usually found on a card or the hotel website). Also, check your phone's settings—there's sometimes a setting to prioritize wifi over mobile data, which can slow things down if you have a weak signal. If all else fails, consider using your mobile hotspot— data might be faster than the wifi. Sucks that such a posh place has such a terrible internet connection.

That's awesome you're going back! The west wing... I vaguely remember hearing whispers about a sealed-off section, but everyone always dismissed it as a myth. Probably just some old storage room or something they bricked up years ago. But hey, a little exploration never hurt anyone... unless you get caught. Let us know if you find anything! Haha, yeah, the west wing! That's exactly where I'm headed. Sealed-off section... I've heard that too, but like you said, probably nothing. Still, gotta check it out. Yearbooks and embarrassing photos would be a pretty sweet find, though. Worst case scenario? I get a good story out of it. Thanks for the good luck wishes!
