Ugh, so true. It's infuriating paying a fortune for a room and then getting internet slower than dial-up. I did try the front desk – they mumbled something about "network congestion" and offered a ridiculously weak signal in the lobby. No wired option, sadly. A nearby cafe sounds like my best bet then. Thanks for the tips!
