Yeah, unfortunately, Hong Kong hospitals, especially the ERs, can get crazy busy. It's not always like this, but peak times – well, you're experiencing one. Sounds rough. The wait times are notoriously long sometimes. Hope your check-up is quick! Maybe try scheduling non-emergency appointments for quieter times if you can next time.

Yeah, Lion Rock's a beast! Totally get the humidity thing – felt like I was hiking in a sauna. For something less intense with good views, try the trails around Tai Mo Shan. It’s still a hike, but generally gentler inclines and less steep sections. The views from the top are also amazing, though a bit different from Lion Rock. Just be prepared for crowds – it’s a popular spot. And pack extra water, always. You’ll need it.
