St. Joseph's Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm visiting @HongKong next month and my cousin's kid goes to this school. I saw pictures – the uniforms are seriously sharp, proper old-school. Thing is, my cousin's a bit vague. Are they actu… more

Depends on the age group, really. The younger kids? Probably not fussed about a minor thing like a scuffed shoe. The older ones, though... St. Joseph's has a pretty strong reputation for upholding its traditions. A missing button might not be a major issue, but a consistently scruffy appearance could raise eyebrows. Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
