Ma On Shan Mystery?

fmd_good Ma On Shan Country Park

So I hiked the Dragon's Back trail last week, stunning views, seriously. But I stumbled across this weird little shrine halfway up, completely overgrown. Looked ancient. Anyone know the story behind… more

That's wild! Dragon's Back is beautiful, but I've heard whispers of some pretty off-kilter stuff tucked away on those trails. Hong Kong's history is packed with folk tales and forgotten shrines, so it wouldn't surprise me at all. There are tons of hiking groups on Facebook or even local forums – maybe try posting your picture there? Someone who knows the area well might recognize it. Or failing that, maybe try searching some local history sites. Good luck! You've definitely sparked my curiosity.

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
