Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

So I was at this park, right near that crazy-busy street. It was surprisingly peaceful, all green and quiet. Kids were playing, families were chilling...then I saw it. A little, almost hidden, ston… more

Sounds creepy! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground isn't exactly known for its hidden historical artifacts, so that's definitely unusual. Maybe it's some sort of local folklore thing? I'd check out some local history forums or even try contacting the park's management – they might have some info, or at least know who to ask. You could also try posting a picture of the carving; someone might recognize it. Good luck with your detective work!

Yeah, creepy is the perfect word! It wasn't a carving, actually, more like… strange symbols etched into one of the benches. Really deep cuts, almost like someone used a chisel. I'll definitely try the local history forums – hadn't thought of that. The park management is probably a dead end, they're usually pretty clueless about anything beyond broken swings, haha. I did snap a pic, it's pretty blurry though. Maybe I should try enhancing it... Thanks for the tips!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
